Warranty & Returns

Our commitment to quality and your peace of mind.

Warranty Policy

We offer a full 12 months return to base warranty on all new parts and a 3 months return to base warranty on all reconditioned parts. So if you have any problems within the specified warranty period from the date of delivery, please contact our Customer Relationship Team who will be happy to help and explain what you need to do next.

Returns Policy

If you wish to return an item for any reason, this should be reported to us within 7 days of delivery. You then have a further 7 days to return the item, with all packaging and documentation, for assessment/inspection.

We will only authorise the return of an item in the following cases:

Faulty When Received

We offer a full 12-month return to base warranty on all new and repaired parts and a 3-month warranty on reconditioned parts. If you have any problems within this warranty period from the date of delivery, please contact our Customer Relationship Team. Please see our warranty page for full terms and conditions.

Damaged in Transit

If items are damaged in transit, this should be reported to us within 7 days so we can provide you with a replacement unit. If there is no availability for a replacement, the price of the items as paid will be refunded through the payment method used when purchased. Carriage costs will also be refunded if the damage was due to our packing and/or carrier.

The Customer should not return any damaged items until instructed to do so by RS Drive Automation. We will require photos of the damage as evidence for any carrier claims.

Incorrect Item

If you receive items which do not match those ordered, you should contact us within 7 days to arrange collection and return.

Should you wish to return an item for any other reason, we must be informed of the return and reason in writing within 7 days of receipt. You then have a further 7 days to return the item in original condition and packaging. Returns of this nature will be subject to a 35% restocking fee.

This returns policy excludes software and specially manufactured products.

We are not affiliated with, authorised by, or acting as an official distributor for any manufacturer referenced on this website. All brand names, trademarks and product names belong to their respective owners. Parts may be surplus stock, older production runs or earlier series than currently available from authorised dealers.

1. Introduction

Welcome to RS Drive Automation. These Terms and Conditions govern your access to and use of our website and the purchase of products and services we offer. Our registered business is RS Drive Automation, based in Auckland, New Zealand.

By accessing our website or placing an order, you confirm that you have read, understood and agree to be bound by these Terms and Conditions. If you do not agree, please do not use our website or services.

2. Conditions of Use

The content of this website — including text, images, product listings and descriptions — may not be reproduced, transmitted, modified or otherwise used without the prior written consent of RS Drive Automation.

RS Drive Automation operates as an independent reseller. Products may carry earlier production dates or belong to earlier production runs than those available from official manufacturers. Any specific version requirements must be communicated at the time of ordering.

All brand names, logos and trademarks referenced are the intellectual property of their respective owners. Their use is for descriptive purposes only and does not imply any affiliation or endorsement. Only individuals aged 18 years or over may place orders.

3. Products and Availability

RS Drive Automation sells industrial automation products including PLCs, HMI Operator Panels, Motors, Drives, Motion Systems and Electronic Components. All orders are subject to product availability.

NEW Products are supplied in original manufacturer packaging where available. Products may be an earlier series or version than those currently available. Packaging may show minor wear.

REFURBISHED Products have been overhauled, with key components replaced, cleaned and tested. All come with RS Drive Automation warranty.

4. Order Cancellation

RS Drive Automation reserves the right to cancel any order where a product becomes unavailable. The customer will be notified by email and, prior to any refund, an equivalent product or alternative solution may be proposed.

Customer-initiated cancellations may be subject to charges including administrative fees, back-order component costs, transport and customs charges, and a penalty of up to 40% of the order value. Return shipments must be trackable and, where goods exceed NZ$1,000, fully insured.

5. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by New Zealand law, RS Drive Automation shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special or consequential damages arising from the use of our products or services, including loss of production, profit or business interruption. Our total liability shall not exceed the value of the order giving rise to the claim.

6. Governing Law

These Terms and Conditions are governed by the laws of New Zealand. Any disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the New Zealand courts. For any queries, please contact us at sales@rsdriveautomation.co.nz.

Warranty & Returns

Our commitment to quality and your peace of mind.

Warranty Policy

We offer a full 12 months return to base warranty on all new parts and a 3 months return to base warranty on all reconditioned parts. So if you have any problems within the specified warranty period from the date of delivery, please contact our Customer Relationship Team who will be happy to help and explain what you need to do next.

Returns Policy

If you wish to return an item for any reason, this should be reported to us within 7 days of delivery. You then have a further 7 days to return the item, with all packaging and documentation, for assessment/inspection.

We will only authorise the return of an item in the following cases:

Faulty When Received

We offer a full 12-month return to base warranty on all new and repaired parts and a 3-month warranty on reconditioned parts. If you have any problems within this warranty period from the date of delivery, please contact our Customer Relationship Team. Please see our warranty page for full terms and conditions.

Damaged in Transit

If items are damaged in transit, this should be reported to us within 7 days so we can provide you with a replacement unit. If there is no availability for a replacement, the price of the items as paid will be refunded through the payment method used when purchased. Carriage costs will also be refunded if the damage was due to our packing and/or carrier.

The Customer should not return any damaged items until instructed to do so by RS Drive Automation. We will require photos of the damage as evidence for any carrier claims.

Incorrect Item

If you receive items which do not match those ordered, you should contact us within 7 days to arrange collection and return.

Should you wish to return an item for any other reason, we must be informed of the return and reason in writing within 7 days of receipt. You then have a further 7 days to return the item in original condition and packaging. Returns of this nature will be subject to a 35% restocking fee.

This returns policy excludes software and specially manufactured products.

RS Drive Automation is an independent reseller of industrial automation spare parts. We are not affiliated with, authorised by, or acting as an official distributor for any manufacturer referenced on this website. All brand names, trademarks and product names belong to their respective owners. Parts may be surplus stock, older production runs or earlier series than currently available from authorised dealers.

1. Introduction

Welcome to RS Drive Automation. These Terms and Conditions govern your access to and use of our website and the purchase of products and services we offer. Our registered business is RS Drive Automation, based in Auckland, New Zealand.

By accessing our website or placing an order, you confirm that you have read, understood and agree to be bound by these Terms and Conditions. If you do not agree, please do not use our website or services.

2. Conditions of Use

The content of this website — including text, images, product listings and descriptions — may not be reproduced, transmitted, modified or otherwise used without the prior written consent of RS Drive Automation.

RS Drive Automation operates as an independent reseller. Products may carry earlier production dates or belong to earlier production runs than those available from official manufacturers. Any specific version requirements must be communicated at the time of ordering.

All brand names, logos and trademarks referenced are the intellectual property of their respective owners. Their use is for descriptive purposes only and does not imply any affiliation or endorsement. Only individuals aged 18 years or over may place orders.

3. Products and Availability

RS Drive Automation sells industrial automation products including PLCs, HMI Operator Panels, Motors, Drives, Motion Systems and Electronic Components. All orders are subject to product availability.

NEW Products are supplied in original manufacturer packaging where available. Products may be an earlier series or version than those currently available. Packaging may show minor wear.

REFURBISHED Products have been overhauled, with key components replaced, cleaned and tested. All come with RS Drive Automation warranty.

4. Order Cancellation

RS Drive Automation reserves the right to cancel any order where a product becomes unavailable. The customer will be notified by email and, prior to any refund, an equivalent product or alternative solution may be proposed.

Customer-initiated cancellations may be subject to charges including administrative fees, back-order component costs, transport and customs charges, and a penalty of up to 40% of the order value. Return shipments must be trackable and, where goods exceed NZ$1,000, fully insured.

5. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by New Zealand law, RS Drive Automation shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special or consequential damages arising from the use of our products or services, including loss of production, profit or business interruption. Our total liability shall not exceed the value of the order giving rise to the claim.

6. Governing Law

These Terms and Conditions are governed by the laws of New Zealand. Any disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the New Zealand courts. For any queries, please contact us at sales@rsdriveautomation.co.nz.
